22 February 2009

I wasn't on this bike OR this trainer today, but I did get on a bike and trainer today and did almost 17 miles in an hour. The weather was beautiful again today (I thought we were getting rain) but I have to work tonight so I couldn't get outside. Instead, I watched Versus' recap of the Tour of Qatar. It amazes me that in spite of being a competitive sport, these athletes can be very courteous to each other. Specifically, I refer to the untimely death of the 21-year-old Belgian who passed in his sleep. Out of respect, the next days' stage was cut short, and the peloton meandered through it quietly. How very honoring of this young racer's life. Helmets off to these professionals.
Be blessed, be safe.
